Sign up for a class!
Are you interested in learning to forage? My classes will show you standard foraging, but also will include indigenous science, ethnobotany, and modern western uses of plants. Additionally, they are formatted to help you learn to foster relationships and reciprocity with the land.
Let’s Work Together!
I am very enthusiastic about collaborating with other organizations! This can include appearing as a guest speaker, organizing a nature or science based activity, or working with you to organize an event. So far, I’ve done presentations for high schoolers and collaborated with organizing nature-based crafts and volunteering for local organizations. Please reach out to me via email and we can discuss.
My Philosophy
I believe that knowing and having relationships with plants and the land are an integral part of being human, and all of our right. I also believe that having reciprocal relationships with plants and the land are the only way forward to a sustainable future.
My classes are affordable and accessible, and are tailored to facilitate connection with the land and each other, instead of just exchanging information for money. I also work to provide free, knowledge-based activities for those who wish to engage with nature and community.
“Most of us walk unseeing through the world, unaware alike of its beauties, its wonders, and the strange and sometimes terrible intensity of the lives that are being lived about us.”
— Rachel Carson, Silent Spring
